Aqu\u00ed, la cocina tailandesa y el sushi encontraron su lugar en el coraz\u00f3n pol\u00edtico y social de Berl\u00edn. Su cocina de sushi gozaba de tanto prestigio que la Embajada de Jap\u00f3n enviaba gustosamente all\u00ed a sus hu\u00e9spedes oficiales. En 2001, los cocineros del Maothai organizaron conjuntamente con el Hotel Adlon el banquete de gala del primer gran encuentro de la ASEAN en Berl\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>Con ello, la cocina tailandesa hab\u00eda encontrado el lugar que le correspond\u00eda: como \u00fanico restaurante asi\u00e1tico en Unter den Linden, en la plaza frente a la Puerta de Brandemburgo, donde por lo dem\u00e1s solo
