De un l\u00fagubre local de s\u00f3tano donde se hab\u00eda vendido el antisemita National-Zeitung surgi\u00f3 un peque\u00f1o comedor subterr\u00e1neo con una excelente cocina tailandesa.<\/p>\n<p>La burocracia berlinesa casi impidi\u00f3 la apertura. El necesario permiso de obras fue denegado durante largo tiempo. Solo despu\u00e9s de que todos los partidos representados en el Parlamento de Berl\u00edn hubieran intervenido, se traslad\u00f3 a Berl\u00edn-Mitte a un funcionario del Berl\u00edn occidental, quien finalmente concedi\u00f3 el permiso.<\/p>\n<p>Pero para entonces el restaurante llevaba ya mucho tiempo abierto. El 9 de noviembre de 1994 \u2014 aniversario de la ca\u00edda del Muro y al mismo tiempo fecha hist\u00f3rica de la Reichspogromnacht \u2014 el Kamala abri\u00f3 sus puertas sin permiso.
